ON THE MENU FEATURING MY MISTRESS

This week’s HS | On The Menu feature is about one of Hrvst St’s longtime soul sisters, My Mistress – Clayfield <BNE>

Today a juice/food match was found, a match that would suit anyone from the ‘Health Conscious Hilary’ to a ‘Hungover Harry’…it certainly didn’t let us down!

I will be straight up honest with you on this, we have been in deep, deep love with the good vibes, real/proper food, quality coffee & obvs juice since the beautiful team at My Mistress first opened their doors 3 or so years ago… and may or may not have had a ‘cheeky fling’ going on from day one. ;)

The menu is fun, it’s cheeky & I feel like it is always trying to seduce me …with menu item names like, ‘Cheeky Fling’, ‘On The Side’ & ‘Main Affair’, My Mistress has a theme that makes you think you are up-to-no-good when you’re ordering something delicious off their menu.

The garden courtyard at the front is the best spot to sit – but today, apparently everyone in Brisbane was at Misso & beat me to it so I found a cute spot inside.

This week for HS | On The Menu I decided to roll with something off their menu I have never tried before – I know, livin’ life on the edge, right?! & to be honest, no regrets.

I eye’d off Eggs Marilyn – Caramelised Onion & Caraway Rye w/ Margaret River Smoked Ham, Wilted Spinach, Poached Eggs, topped w/ Hollandaise & paired her with our super clean, Little Green Cold Pressed Juice (Kale,Cucumber,Ginger,Pear & Lemon).

This cute match was actually everything, it was bloody delicious! It was hearty but the perfect size – not too in-ya-face-filling, you know… just perfect!

The combination of the Little Green, green juice & Eggs Marilyn is now hands-down one of our favourite things off Misso’s menu… I dare you to give it a go, you only live once, trust me, you will have no regrets with this one.
